About Flag Game

Flag Game is a quick, welcoming way to explore the world one flag at a time. Look at a real national flag, trust your first instinct, and choose the country that matches it.

Play flag-recognition rounds, or explore challenges that use country, capital, and regional clues. The changing questions keep every run fresh and help you connect places, colors, and symbols.

Easy mode is a friendly tour through familiar flags. Medium adds neighboring countries and similar color combinations. Hard mode rewards careful observation when flags look almost alike.

There is no pressure on the home game. Play one short round, challenge a friend, or build a daily geography habit. Choose the timer when you want an extra challenge.

Your progress stays on your device, with no account, download, or personal profile required. Play on a phone or desktop, replay your result, and keep discovering flags from around the world.

Why Learn World Flags with Flag Game?

Flag Game turns world-flag recognition into an active, free browser challenge. Guess the country from a real flag, get immediate feedback, and shape each session around the regions and practice time that matter to you.

More than a flag gallery

Instead of scrolling through labeled flags, look at a national flag and choose its country from four answers. Trying to recall the country before seeing the result makes each question an opportunity to check what you know about world flags.

Practice your chosen region

Unlike a fixed all-world quiz, Flag Game lets you focus on Europe, Asia, Africa, the Americas, or Oceania. Choose a shorter round or the full regional collection to practice flags for a geography lesson, a future trip, or your own curiosity.

Learn from each answer

Correct-answer highlighting and country facts connect a flag with its country as you play. Streak bonuses encourage consistent answers, while the final score, correct and incorrect counts, and best streak help you reflect on the session—not just the last question.

A challenge at your pace

Set a difficulty and question count before starting, or choose all available flags in your selected region. There is no answer countdown; the optional timer only shows elapsed time. Play free on a phone or desktop without registering or installing an app.

Frequently Asked Questions

How are Easy, Medium, and Hard questions different?

Difficulty changes the pool of flags and the quality of the distractors. Easy favors familiar flags, Medium adds closer regional and color comparisons, and Hard includes flags that are easy to confuse.

How does scoring and the streak bonus work?

A correct answer starts at 10 points. Consecutive correct answers add a growing bonus, while a wrong answer stops the current streak but does not remove points you already earned.

Can I focus on one continent instead of the whole world?

Yes. Choose a region before starting to turn the game into a focused study session. The All option uses every available flag in that region without intentionally repeating a flag during the round.

What does Show timer change?

The timer is optional on the home game. Turning it on adds a visible elapsed-time challenge, but it does not change the correct-answer points or punish a slow answer.

Why do some flags appear similar to one another?

The game intentionally uses realistic distractors from the same region or color family. Comparing similar designs helps you notice bands, emblems, proportions, and small details instead of guessing from one obvious color.

What happens to my results and personal data?

The game does not require an account. Session settings and local results can stay on your device, so you can practice privately without creating a profile or sending personal information to a leaderboard.
